I'm Pleased to Announce John Davis has Joined Poems With Heart!

             It's a pleasure to announce John Davis will be included in the forthcoming Poems With Heart anthology due to be released in February 2014.
            John Davis was born and raised in the Puget Sound region and educated at Lewis and Clark College, Santa Clara University and the University of Washington where he received an MFA in Creative Writing. He served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves.
           His poetry has appeared in many journals and magazines including Aethlon, The Bellingham Review, The Beloit Poetry Journal, Cimarron Review, Crab Creek ReviewCream City Review, CutbankGeorgetown ReviewIron Horse Literary ReviewThe Laurel ReviewLullwater ReviewNebraska Review, New Delta Review, The North American ReviewOxford Magazine, Passages North, Poetry Northwest, RHINO, The Seattle Review, Sycamore ReviewWellspring, and many others.
         He is the author of Gigs (Sol Books) and a chapbook The Reservist (Pudding House Press.) His poems have been published in many anthologies and collections including Beyond Forgetting: Poetry and Prose about Alzheimer’s Disease, Island of Geese and StarsKing County Poetry and Art on BusesNorthwest Poets and Artists Calendar, and Uncharted Lines from the Journal of American Medical Association.
